2004 Cabernet Merlot

The 2004 Cabernet Merlot was harvested from 24 year old low yielding vines, from our 20 acre vineyard in the ‘Red Lands” area of the Yarra Valley. Picked late in the season, the wine produced has spent 18 months in French Barriques. The nose is full of fresh blackberries with the palate showing a little pepper on the finish. Drink now or put in the cellar and watch it develop over the next 12-15 years.
