The 2010 Cabernet Merlot was produced from old vines here on the property in the higher reaches of the Yarra Yalley.
Dark crimson red with a pale red hue. Dark fruits with spice, tobacco, savouriness and sweet toasty oak dominate the nose. A full palate of red berry/plum fruits, great dusty tannin and natural acidity is balanced with savoury tobacco and toasty oak characters. An early picked cool climate style that will age over the medium to long term.
